ALL-Ready at the Organic Innovation Days

On the past 11 and 12 of October, the ALL-Ready project was actively represented in the Organic Innovation Days (OID) organised by the Technology Platform of Organic food and Farming (TPOrganics). The focus of this annual meeting has been the future European Partnership of Agroecology and Living Labs and Research Infrastructures.

Our Project Partners ÖMKi has developed a study about Organic Living Labs and Lighthouse Farms that was presented during the first day.

This study is collecting specific initiatives and best practices in the organic sector that are currently applying transdisciplinary approaches that can be qualified as Living Labs or Lighthouses. Moreover, a Belgium Organic Living Lab was visited during the meeting.

On the second day, a Policy debate was held, involving the European Commission, The Standing Committee of Agricultural Research, and the two CSAs selected for preparing the partnership, AE4EU, and ALL-Ready. In the Panel discussion Miguel de Porras, from our partner organisation FiBL Europe, pointed out the cascade effect of investing in organic research and innovation. Resulting innovations are currently being adopted in many other kinds of farming production systems.
