What is the All-Ready Agroecology Virtual Lab?
The Agroecology Virtual Lab is a web platform that standardizes collaboration for research an innovation among Agroecology stakeholders. It simplifies, centralize, digitalize and streamline the creation of interdisciplinary innovation ecosystems and communities via collaboration with complementary partners that match your needs. This Agroecology Virtual Lab includes among other functionalities a marketplace, a networking tools, a repository of resources for dissemination and knowledge sharing, geographical visualization of innovation ecosystems available and agroecology best practices and other data management functionalities.
Who can use it?
The Platform is designed to gather stakeholders from different sectors of society (farmers, innovators, policy makers, researchers, citizen and other actors with a say in agroecology) to foster collaboration and exchange of knowledge on agroecology real-word applications, research questions, technological solutions and any other innovative idea.
Main users’ types?
The platform is structured in 4 main types of users:
- Research sector – Actors involved in producing and /or sharing basic or applied knowledge such as scientists, academics, scientific advisors, tech parks, research & technology organizations
- Innovation sector – Actors involved in the productive sector of the economy i.e. that produces goods and services such as SME, Large companies, farmers, cooperatives and associations
- Public sector – Actors involved in defining, implementing or evaluating policies, strategies or plans such as national public bodies, authorities, regional public bodies, local public bodies, funding bodies
- Civil sector - Actors interested or concerned by agrifood systems such as consumer, citizens, associations and agencies

How to use it?
All-Ready Agroecology Virtual Lab is a user-friendly platform in which you could create your account (and profile) and start using all the functionalities provided. My dashboard and the marketplace are the main functionalities centralizing information. My dashboard (figure 1) allows you to have at-a-glance view of all the tabs and activities of your network. A marketplace offers you the possibility to explore and share opportunities with the community. You can add and find enquiries and offers for yourself, and identify services and resources for various research domains and European funding opportunities and innovation programs. You will also be allowed to send messages to the person who offer the opportunity to ask questions.
