European Partnership on Agroecology Living Labs and Research Infrastructures
The vision developed in the ALL-Ready project has become a reality through the AGROECOLOGY Partnership – the European Partnership on accelerating farming systems transition through agroecology Living Labs and Research Infrastructures. Launched on 1 January 2024 under Horizon Europe, the Partnership brings together the European Commission and national funding organisations from across Europe to accelerate the transition towards sustainable and resilient farming systems through research, innovation and collaboration.
ALL-Ready played a key role in preparing the Partnership by developing concepts, methods and governance approaches for agroecology Living Labs and Research Infrastructures. Together with the sister project AE4EU, it also laid the foundations for today's European Network of Agroecology Living Labs and Research Infrastructures, which is being further developed within the AGROECOLOGY Partnership.
Today, the Partnership supports transnational research and innovation projects, expands the European Network of Agroecology Living Labs and Research Infrastructures, fosters stakeholder engagement and policy dialogue, and promotes the wider adoption of agroecological approaches across Europe. Running until 2033, it provides a long-term framework for collaboration between researchers, farmers, advisors, policymakers and other actors working towards more sustainable farming systems.
The information on this page reflects the preparatory work carried out during the ALL-Ready project (2020–2023). The AGROECOLOGY Partnership is now taking this work forward.
